3. User Eligibility

Trip Hive is open to everyone, regardless of race, age, or nationality. However, users must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction for premium services and account verification. For activities involving minors (e.g., eco-friendly trips for kids), parental consent and school authorization may be required.
We maintain a strict policy against any activities that promote violence, illegal actions, pollution, or discrimination. By using our platform, you confirm your legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

4. User Account

User Access Without an Account

  • Browsing Experience: Users can explore the platform without creating an account. They have access to
  • Marketplace, Platform and Blog browsing
  • Checking Trips, Events and activities
  • Booking options (with a valid payment method)
  • Limited Interaction: These users cannot leave comments, reviews, or access personalized features. Their experience is mainly focused on exploring and booking.

Standard Account Users

Features Available:

  • Access to the marketplace, booking options, and browsing.
  • Personalized dashboard with booking history and wishlist.
  • Referral program with a unique link to invite friends and earn commissions or discounts.
  • Access to free resources from Trip Hive Academy (e.g., introductory courses on sustainable travel).
  • Email newsletters with updates and offers.
  • Ability to leave reviews and comments.
  • Premium features such as carbon footprint calculations, trip management tools, and advanced planning are visible but not usable without upgrading to a Premium or Hive Builder account.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Maintain the security of your account.
  • Not use the platform for illegal activities or harmful purposes, including fraud, misrepresentation, or content that violates intellectual property rights.
  • Respect our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits the promotion of violence, hate speech, or environmentally harmful activities.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

Users agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful activities.
  • Post defamatory, harmful, or infringing content.

When booking through Trip Hive:
  • You agree to the service provider's terms, including cancellation and refund policies. Payments are processed securely and support multiple currencies.
  • Trip Hive charges a non-refundable service fee of 10%, unless stated otherwise.
  • Trip Hive may assist with dispute resolution but is not liable for the quality or delivery of services by third-party providers.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations and refunds follow the policies of the respective service providers. Trip Hive’s service fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. For assistance, contact our support team.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on Trip Hive are owned by us or our licensors. Users cannot copy or distribute content without permission.

User-Generated Content:

By submitting reviews, photos, or content, you grant Trip Hive a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and display it for promotional purposes.
